Genevieve Von Black is an improviser, usually on electric piano and synthesiser, based on Gadigal-Wangal land/Sydney, Australia. Genevieve’s improvisations tend to combine her love of the magic of a performance you’ll never hear/see again, with heavy metal, progressive rock, jazz, classical music and stories (historical or mythical). Genevieve is part of an art band with spoken word, Helvetica Noise, and an improvising heavy dark drone/ambient duo, Delays Have Dangerous Ends, also on the Blunderbuss Record Co label.
